We're seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to help drive strategic business decisions through financial planning, forecasting, and data analysis. In this fully remote role, you'll partner with leadership to evaluate financial performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide insights that support budgeting, profitability, and long-term business strategy.
What You'll Do
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance dashboards.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Perform variance analysis and explain differences between actual and forecasted results.
- Support pricing strategies, cost analysis, and profitability initiatives.
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, and executive leadership on financial planning projects.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to management in a clear, concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial functions.
- Experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems, or business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.
- MBA, CFA, CPA, or progress toward a professional certification is preferred.
