We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented Order Picker to ensure products are selected, prepared, and delivered accurately and on time.
The current schedule is 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., but it may change to 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. After completing training, you will be assigned to Shipping, Receiving, or Order Picking in the future. Your schedule may change depending on your assigned department and operational needs.
The ideal candidate must be punctual, able to work long hours on their feet, capable of lifting materials safely, and attentive to small details. We expect you to be “picky” when ensuring the accuracy and quality of every order. capable of offloading Containers
Responsibilities
- Receive and review incoming pick tickets.
- Locate products using tablets, RF devices, or other warehouse technology.
- Pick orders according to the correct product, quantity, size, and specifications.
- Inspect products and orders for accuracy and quality.
- Secure and wrap orders before they are loaded onto trucks.
- Restock inventory manually or by using warehouse equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of completed orders.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain equipment and immediately report damage or malfunctions.
- Keep assigned work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company health, safety, and quality-control standards.
- Report to work on time and work the full scheduled shift as required.
- Assist Shipping, Receiving, or other warehouse departments as needed.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Requirements and Skills
- Sit-down propane forklift experience is required.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in another warehouse position.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Experience using tablet-based picking systems or RF scanning devices.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
- Handle, sort, wrap, and scan inventory; read product labels, SKU numbers, and warehouse signs; verify quantities using basic math; and move safely around warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Dependable, diligent, and punctual.
- Good physical strength and stamina.
- Stand or walk for extended periods during shifts of up to 8–10 hours; bend, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead as needed. Some assigned tasks may require extended sitting.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50-60 pound throughout the scheduled shift if needed.
- Ability to work safely in a fast or slow-paced warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
