Project Manager – Housing Maintenance Operations
Location: U.S. Coast Guard Training Center (TRACEN), Cape May, NJ
T47 is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to oversee Housing Maintenance Operations at the USCG Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey. This role requires a proven leader with strong technical, operational, and people management experience to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance support for government housing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full program leadership, direction, and execution of a housing/facilities maintenance operation
- Exercise direct and indirect supervision over a workforce of 10–15 professional, skilled, and semi-skilled employees
- Develop and implement policy guidance and operational procedures
- Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance work orders and workflow priorities
- Conduct program performance analysis and reporting
- Budget, allocate, and manage labor, materials, and resources efficiently
- Apply quality control principles and compliance oversight
- Coordinate with USCG stakeholders and internal leadership for mission success
- Uphold safety standards and practices consistent with construction/maintenance industry regulations
- Communicate clearly and professionally — both verbally and in writing
Required Qualifications (must meet one of the following):
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Project Management certification, OR
- Minimum of two (2) years of current experience managing facility maintenance contracts/projects of similar size and complexity, OR
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing facility maintenance contracts/projects of similar size and complexity
Additionally, the PM must demonstrate experience in:
- Program oversight and operational leadership
- Quality control methods and inspection practices
- Construction trades and maintenance techniques
- Safety management in maintenance or construction environments
- Effective communication — must fluently read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
