We’re seeking an experienced Sales Specialist who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue growth in the IT and cybersecurity space.
Role Overview
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for converting qualified leads into long-term clients by selling managed IT and security solutions. This role works closely with marketing and technical teams to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close new business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for MSP and MSSP services
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Client Engagement
- Conduct needs assessments and present customized IT and cybersecurity solutions
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers (C-level, IT managers, business owners)
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and outbound prospects
- Develop and execute strategic account plans
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing on lead quality and campaign feedback
- Partner with technical teams to ensure solution alignment and successful onboarding
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to leadership
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in MSP, MSSP, IT services, or cybersecurity
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience managing a full sales cycle and closing deals
Preferred:
- Experience selling managed IT services, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity offerings
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST, etc.)
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales tools
