As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be a core member of the Sales Team. In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to treat the Western US & Western Canada territory like your own business while driving growth and building strong customer relationships. With a relentless focus on consultative selling, you will understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that deliver results. We are looking for a team-minded individual to be a key player in developing our market presence, delivering efficiency, creativity, and consistency in the way we manage our accounts and support our partners. The ultimate goal is to build meaningful relationships, enhance the customer experience, and advocate for T1V as a driver of business results. You will be a bridge between our customers, dealer partners, and internal teams and report directly to our VP of Global Sales.
Here's what you'll do:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and grow T1V’s market presence across Western US & Western Canada.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners, consultants, and representatives from companies like Planar and Avocor.
- Develop compelling sales quotes and proposals, collaborating with Application Engineer support to secure customer commitments.
- Drive performance to meet or exceed sales targets while actively managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, partners, and prospects to support growth and retention.
- Provide demo support and present tailored solutions as a subject matter expert on T1V products and services.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional strategies, coordinate demos, trade shows, and roadshows, and promote T1V on social media.
- Prospect and engage end users directly to generate high-quality leads.
- Represent T1V at major industry trade shows to demonstrate technology and develop new business relationships.
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory for customer engagements and events as needed between 30-50% of the time.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in territory sales, account management, or business development roles.
- Proven track record of consultative selling, managing sales pipelines, and meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Strong ability to deliver on deadlines, manage multiple projects at once, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated mindset with a sense of urgency and the ability to learn complex technical products quickly.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport, trust, and deep relationships both internally and externally.
- High competence in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and Google Drive environments.
- Location within the Western US or Western Canada sales territory (desired, but not required; may affect travel volume).

- Experience within the audio-visual (AV) and software industries.
- Experience selling directly into the Higher Education vertical.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Highly reliable nature with the ability to think outside of the box when necessary.
- A team-first attitude and a desire to push yourself to improve in your role on a daily basis.
Note on Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience. As an added perk, performance-based bonuses are awarded quarterly.
