Position Summary
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems at the Wilmer, TX site. This role ensures equipment reliability, supports preventive and predictive maintenance efforts, and maintains a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment, systems, and components
Apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to diagnose equipment malfunctions and provide mechanical support
Restore equipment to operational status, including but not limited to:
Electrical distribution systems
Air compressors
Chillers
Vacuum pumps
Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO)
HVAC systems
Monitor control system overviews to identify system issues such as jams, faults, and alarms
Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems
Maintain safety guidelines, cleanliness, and security standards at all times
Troubleshoot basic AC circuitry; identify and replace blown fuses
Perform minor plumbing repairs
Comply with and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Identify and communicate equipment or facility issues to leadership in a timely manner
Assist with basic metal and wood fabrication using tools such as saws and drills
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections, including dock doors, interior/exterior lighting, and general facility conditions
Utilize FTHA and Take 2 forms prior to performing non-routine work
Perform daily standardized inspections of facilities equipment
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of military or industrial experience in one or more of the following areas:
Plumbing
Electrical
Refrigeration
HVAC
Electrical controls
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to record and log work in a CMMS software platform
Ability to understand, follow, and execute written and verbal instructions
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and make decisions with guidance when needed
Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and operational expectations
Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, and aerial lifts
Limited experience with conveyor systems and related equipment
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components
Ability to safely work within a live robotics floor, including clearing drive issues
Preferred
Experience in metal fabrication and welding
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required by the role
Ability to perform repetitive movements including climbing ladders, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling bins, and repetitive wrist motion
Ability to remain stationary, mobile, or physically active for the duration of the shift
Frequent use of vision to view computer screens, testing equipment, documents, and objects near and far
Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely around machinery

DAY SCHEDULE (12 hour rotational shifts):
A Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm (1st week: 4 days on & 3 days off / 2nd week: 3 days on & 4 days off)
C Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm (1st week: 4 days off & 3 days on / 2nd week: 3 days off & 4 days on)
EVENING SCHEDULE (12 hour rotational shifts):
B Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am (1st week: 4 days on & 3 days off / 2nd week: 3 days on & 4 days off)
D Shift 6:00pm - 6:00am (1st week: 4 days off & 3 days on / 2nd week: 3 days off & 4 days on)
Salary : $25 - $26
