Construction/Field Engineer

Job Summary We are currently seeking a construction/field engineer to join our TYLin's PMCM team. Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities: Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting. Verify construction documents to field conditions. Conduct in-depth research to develop recommendations for approaches, concepts, materials and equipment selection. Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate. Assure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths, follow Quality Assurance and Control procedures. Prepare project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports. Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors. Review contractor invoicing to verify quantities and enter contractor invoices into Client’s online system. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. EIT Certification preferred. 3 years of construction (office) engineer experience is required. Previous infrastructure construction experience with a city agency such as NYCHA or DEP Requires knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Experience coordinating with multiple contractors and trades at one time in the field. Knowledge of meeting construction schedules and budgets. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900- $130,300 annually for this position and local market. Salary : $86,900 - $130,300
