Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to assist with the installation process.
- Assist with the construction of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit installation, and mounting electrical panels.
- Perform basic electrical tasks under the guidance of a licensed electrician.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with electrical installations and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all electrical codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an electrician assistant or in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial and industrial electrical systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints is required.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is necessary.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assist with troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with electricians and other team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and work in various weather conditions.
