Job Overview
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment within an actuator shop. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting equipment.
- Troubleshoot, remove, rebuild and install mechanical gear boxes.
- Conduct repairs involving low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, and mechanical adjustments.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance.
- Support field service activities by traveling to different areas within the facility or off-site locations as needed.
- Assist with installation of new machinery or upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and stakeholders regarding maintenance status or technical issues.
Experience:
- Mechanical and electrical experience a plus. On the job training. Eager to train a motivated individual. Salary will be based on experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
