Job Title: Construction Worker (Division 9 Finishes)
Overview: Here at T.W. Smith & Sons Construction we are a small one owner business looking to grow with dedicated employees. all work is performed in a 1 hour drive time radius from Hagerstown, MD which means no beating down the roads to work everyday, and staying out of the city! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction activities, such as: Drywall, Metal Framing, Insulation, & Acoustical Ceilings.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and project managers to complete assigned tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution of work.
- Operate basic construction tools & scizzor lifts safely and effectively.
- Perform physical labor such as, lifting, carrying, and material placement as required by the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Division 9 Finishes is mandatory
- Ability to read blueprints is essential for understanding project plans.
- Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to perform manual labor
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Reliable transportation
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
