Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, focused on managing and executing small construction projects from initial planning through closeout. The Small Projects team member will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to define project scope, schedule, and budget. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, preparing takeoffs and estimates, organizing subcontractor bids, and supporting contract preparation. The role will oversee site activities for small projects, including scheduling, quality checks, safety adherence, and resolution of day-to-day issues. Additional tasks include tracking project costs, preparing progress updates, maintaining project documentation, and supporting continuous improvements to T&W’s design-build process.

Qualifications
- Experience with small commercial construction projects, including coordination of new builds, remodels, and tenant improvements.
- Skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Ability to assist with estimating, takeoffs, and basic budgeting for small projects.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams in a professional, collaborative manner.
- Commitment to jobsite safety, adherence to company standards, and attention to quality and detail.
- Basic proficiency with construction-related software (e.g., project management and scheduling tools) and Microsoft Office or similar applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, trade school, or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous field or project coordination experience in commercial construction is strongly preferred; experience in design-build environments is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis, IN, including regular visits to project locations and occasional travel within the region as needed.
