Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in various construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation jobs. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, and other structural components according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete pumping, demolition, and material handling
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Mix and pour concrete, perform concrete finishing, and install concrete forms for foundations and structures
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans while coordinating with team members
- Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, and tile laying for various projects
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety standards during all phases of work
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery confidently
- Experience in construction estimating to assist in project planning and resource allocation
- Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, flooring installation, and metal stud framing
- Skilled in carpentry trades such as trim carpentry, framing, roofing, and restoration work
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site safety procedures
- Ability to perform plastering, caulking, tile laying, masonry work, and stucco application with precision
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes or forklifts for material movement
