Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate to join our mental health and behavioral care team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify treatment needs.
- Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy focused on mental health, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Offer crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community resources, and support networks to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Stay informed about current best practices in clinical social work, mental health treatment modalities, and substance use disorder interventions.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality as outlined by licensing boards and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent) or license eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health issues, including behavioral health challenges.
- Prior experience working with clients who have substance use disorders is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and substance use disorder interventions.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and cultural competence.
