What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Paint Prep position at T & T Sales, Inc.?
We are looking to hire a full-time Truck Body prepper for our paint shop in Latham, NY.
Pay for this position can start anywhere from $18.00 or more depending on your experience working in a professional paint shop and your ability to learn new skills. We can discuss at your first interview as this position leads to many opportunities for both increased responsibilities and earnings.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Fill depressions with body filler and (or) Prepare vehicles surfaces for painting.
- File, grind and sand fabricated surfaces
- Prep surfaces for paint shop including washing before and after process removing overspray
- Perform misc. tasks as assigned by Paint Shop Supervisor
- Must be able to lift 40lbs without assistance
- Must adhere to all site specific EHS safety plans and policies including respirator use when necessary.
