Duties
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes
- Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit
- Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture and appliances as needed
- Operate commercial vehicles including box trucks for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all driving laws and safety protocols
- Load, secure, and unload cargo efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the moving process and addressing any concerns professionally
- Follow safety procedures consistently to prevent injuries during heavy lifting or moving activities
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse work, moving services, or delivery driving is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, manual labor, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or moving priorities as needed
