Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding various components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and proficiency in using various tools and machinery. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. Must be able tor travel on out of state installations.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld metal components based on project specifications and blueprints.
- Operate welding equipment and machinery, including manual plasma cutting machines.
- Perform pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate assembly of components.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to fabrication and welding.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) with a strong attention to detail.
- Food Grade Stainless Steel and Structural steel welding.
- Familiarity with machining processes and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong understanding of ductwork systems and installation methods.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for precise fabrication tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
