Cashier Job Description
The cashier's role is to ensure that each and every customer is served in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. This includes greeting customers as they enter the restaurant, processing customer orders through the POS system, and notifying the kitchen staff of any special requests. Our cashiers are the "face of the T-swirl," as they are usually the first, and sometimes only, face the customer sees when at our restaurant. This person will process customer transactions, resolve customer issues, and maintain their assigned areas of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Record customer orders into the POS System, ensuring each and every request is fully and accurately entered.
- Informing kitchen staff, through the POS System or verbal communication, of customer special requests/adjustments.
- Identify customer issues/complaints and take necessary steps to correct them.
- Perform returns and special transactions through the POS System.
- Keep the “register station” stocked with all necessary items.
- Make the drinks
- Clean and organize the “customer isle” when necessary.
- Assist assigned employees with cleaning the customer patio area.
- Notify management of all customer and POS System issues.
- Consistently maintain a balanced drawer.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
Crepe Makers Description
T-swirl crepe Astoria is currently looking for a great addition to its team! We are looking for a Crepe Maker who is passionate about providing an exceptional experience for customers and be part of T-swirl Astoria Family.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Crêpes to customer preferences.
- AM and PM shift available.
- Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guide.
- All requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Cleaning all utensils, kitchen and working tables as needed
- Following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with care
