Earthwork Superintendent

The Earthwork Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations on heavy civil earthwork projects. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality while developing and supporting field teams.

This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in running work, building people, and delivering results.

T. Scherber | Heavy Civil Construction

A heavy civil construction company that doesn’t just move dirt — it moves people.

At T. Scherber, our work goes beyond moving earth. We build infrastructure, we build relationships, and most importantly—we build people.

Founded and led by Trevor and Missy Scherber, our company is rooted in hands-on experience, strong values, and a belief that when you take care of your people, performance follows.

Trevor brings over three decades of field experience and personally leads our union field crews with a relentless focus on precision, efficiency, and pride in the work. His leadership has earned a reputation for execution that is second to none.

Missy has guided the company’s growth with a people-first mindset shaped by over a decade of nonprofit leadership. Her vision centers on trust, stewardship, and strengthening both our team and the communities we serve.

Together, their leadership has been recognized nationally through Equipment World’s Contractor of the Year Program and CONEXPO.

We are a family-owned and operated company with a strong, positive culture—one that celebrates success, values hard work, and believes our people are the heartbeat of everything we do.
