Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Joliet, IL, for a Field Manager. The Field Manager will oversee daily field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure the successful completion of asphalt maintenance projects. Responsibilities include scheduling work, ensuring quality craftsmanship, managing equipment and materials, and maintaining adherence to safety standards. The Field Manager will act as a key point of contact, fostering communication between teams and clients to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience in project management, team supervision, and scheduling
- Familiarity with asphalt maintenance processes, including seal coating, crack filling, striping, and general pavement maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, and understanding of safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with teams and clients
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to work sites as needed
- Relevant certifications in construction, project management, or safety are a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
