Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator/truck driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating front end Loaders/ knuckle boom loaders/ spot trucks on the log yard, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as front end loaders, knuckle boom loaders, and other machinery as needed to assist with log yard operations.
- Load and spot 45' - 48' trailers onsite. CDL is not required, but is a plus.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and work performed for documentation purposesExperience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation and troubleshooting techniques
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with construction equipment brands like Caterpillar or similar manufacturers
- Hands-on experience with various machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions effectively

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
