Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, installing units. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Repair and replace HVAC components, and refrigeration parts to ensure optimal system performance.
- Conduct equipment repair and maintenance on field service calls across multiple property types.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and system conditions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
- Operate various tools and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks including testing instruments and power tools.
- Assist in property maintenance projects related to HVAC or mechanical systems.Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a background in HVAC, refrigeration plumbing, or appliance repair.
- Experience with equipment repair, boiler operation, and property maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units
- Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
