Job Description
T.R. Harris Enterprises is looking for dedicated and dependable Class A and Class B CDL drivers to join our team. We offer steady local work Monday through Friday, so you’ll be home every day.
Position Details

- Dump truck and flatbed positions available
- Guaranteed work every weekday
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Home every evening
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Must reside in Little Rock or the surrounding area
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations.
- Load and unload cargo manually or with equipment like forklifts, adhering to proper handling procedures to prevent damage or injury.
- Secure loads properly, including refrigerated trailers and hazardous materials, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and hazardous materials regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly.
- Deliver freight to various destinations while managing route driving schedules efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across OTR routes.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or other specialized loads preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and manual handling procedures for cargo loading/unloading.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving.
- Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle logistics cargo effectively with attention to safety and detail; forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
