Are you a skilled heavy equipment leader ready to run high-profile earthmoving projects? T&R Construction is hiring a Earthwork, Excavation and Grading Foreman to direct field crews, manage site logistics, and ensure precision grading. If you thrive on transforming raw land into engineered perfection safely and efficiently, we want you on our team!!
This role is responsible for leading crews in earthwork operations, site preparation, excavation, and leveling. They will interpret blueprints, grade stakes, operate heavy machinery, and manage and train workers to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and to specifications.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in overseeing construction projects, dedicated to accurate project completion, and possess strong leadership skills to delegate tasks as needed while leading the crew . They will work side by side with laborers , and will be responsible for performing various duties on the projects. They will handle most aspects related to personnel management on site, and complete daily field reports summarizing the project progression.

Job Requirements
- Make decisions regarding production on a daily basis.
- Assist crew with various duties
- Dig, spread and level construction materials.
- Lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.
- Knowledge of grade stakes and grade checking
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong work ethic
- Must pass a drug test
- Work in a crew environment
- Physical ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Adhere to all safety rules and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late, when necessary
Ideal Candidate
- 5 years of experience leading civil construction crews
- Possess a current Class A CDL license
- Possess and maintain an acceptable driving record to be covered by company policy
