Restaurant Server

Job Overview:
Two lunch shifts available with the option to fill in for other shifts. Thursday lunch shift from 11am-4:30pm and Friday lunch shift from 11am to 2pm. Server wage plus tips. T.P.'s Irish Restaurant & Sports Pub is seeking a skilled, dependable, and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with them throughout their meal
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
