Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to support inpatient units at a hospital in Manhattan. This role is ideal for nurses who are comfortable managing multiple patients, prioritizing care, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience (required)
• Active New York State RN license
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, time-management, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage patient assignments efficiently in a team-based environment
Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
