Job description:

• Responsible for building the sales tactical plan for profitably growing landscape & retail sales for the company in the territory
• Expand the company’s distribution within landscape and retail customers -send submittal pictures when requested for jobs
• Visiting landscape and retail customers to grow relationships
• Meeting with existing and potential clients, bidding and presenting proposals, working with Sales team, and keeping clients informed about project process

Key Characteristics:

• Tactically orientated with ability to think long term and work with the Sales team to help define a growth plan in a general perspective
• Extensive experience in all aspects of customer service relationships
• Broad industry and product knowledge of the landscape and retail category
• Effective internal champion for MGN and its customers, assuring clear and regular communication to key MGN employees
• Driven by sales and profit growth for MGN
• Desire for personal growth and career advancement

 Key Skills:

• Exceptional selling capability and ability to personally manage the company’s customer relationships
• Experience and understanding of best-in-class sales practices
• Track record of achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly Company sales goals and margins

 Job Requirements:

• Candidates must have a high school diploma; candidates with a 4-year undergraduate degree is a plus
• Ideal candidate will have three to five years of wholesale lawn/garden and landscape related selling experience
• Professional sales training certificate a plus
• Bi-lingual a plus
