Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their wireless needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, including performing product demos to showcase device capabilities
- Assist customers with selecting suitable plans, devices, and accessories to meet their individual needs
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash register operations, and managing cash drawer handling
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and managing inventory counts
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or through digital communication channels
- Ensure retail store product knowledge is current by staying informed on new devices, plans, and promotions
- Support store operations by assisting with cashiering duties, retail math calculations, and ensuring a smooth checkout process
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in wireless or electronics retail environments
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Experience with merchandising, stocking products, and retail store product knowledge enhances your success in this role
- Prior grocery store or customer service experience can provide valuable skills applicable to this position
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations confidently
