Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee orientation programs.
- Maintain inventory control through stock auditing, purchasing decisions, and shrink reduction initiatives.
- Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to health & safety policies.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive relationships with shoppers.
- Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, sales analysis, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, and retail math.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and store administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
