Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on lawn care, gardening, floral arrangements, and landscape maintenance products
• Assist customers with product selection, offering tailored solutions based on their needs and preferences
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring merchandise is well-organized and visually appealing through effective merchandising techniques
• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking to ensure product availability
• Support online sales processes by processing e-commerce orders and coordinating pickup or delivery arrangements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, storage areas, and displays to promote a safe shopping environment

Skills

• Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers fluently in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
• Knowledge of horticulture, floral design, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices
• Experience with retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction balancing
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales procedures to ensure smooth checkout experiences
• Excellent organizational skills for stocking, inventory management, and visual merchandising
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service by listening attentively and offering helpful solutions
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms to support online order fulfillment and customer inquiries
