ResponsibilitiesWhat You will Do:

• Successfully complete the New Hire training.
• Make the most of your time on shift, consistently seeking out information between customers, learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
• Build proficiencies related to serving and selling wireless products to our customers, while providing a best-in-class customer experience by:
• Helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey with consultative selling and services.
• Exploring individual needs and provides hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
• Guiding customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers and sharing your expertise.
• Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
• Approach service and sales needs with care, patience, honesty, and empathy.
• Become skilled and be able to consistently demonstrate the ability to balance customer service experience and performance goals.
• Always be knowledgeable of the latest wireless plans and services.
• Always be knowledgeable of Verge Mobile store operational items.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QualificationsWhat You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or related fields are a plus.
• Basic math skills.
• Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of the wireless industry standards is preferred.
• Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
• Team player that can work along with peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
• Effectively balance customer needs and performance goals.
• You are at least 18, authorized to work in the U.S., and can pass a background check.
• Must be able to register and receive identity verification with CLEAR upon hire.

What the Job Demands Physically and Mentally:

Physical Demands of the Job: A retail sales associate involves physical activity, including:

• Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Lifting and Moving: Required to lift (up to 25lbs) and move boxes of merchandise, fixtures, or other items.
• Bending, Kneeling, and Reaching: Tasks like stocking, assisting customers, or retrieving items from lower shelves require these movements.

Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers and staff.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Manage high-pressure situations and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Other Skills: Beyond physical requirements, you will also need strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
