Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing value propositions effectively.
  • Manage existing accounts through proactive account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Prospect for new clients via cold calling, lead generation activities, and networking events to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track interactions, manage contacts, and analyze sales data for informed decision-making.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company policies while meeting client needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that drive demand and brand awareness.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products and industry trends to provide expert advice during technical sales discussions.
  • Manage territory sales activities efficiently, balancing inside and outside sales efforts for maximum coverage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory operations and develop strategic plans.
  • Excellent business development capabilities including lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and analyzing data.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to account management.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos and upsell solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Solid analysis skills for evaluating market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance metrics.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging clients across various channels including inside and outside sales environments.
