Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy and Light Duty Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of vehicles, including commercial trucks, flatbeds, tow trucks, and light-duty vehicles, to transport cargo, equipment, and vehicles efficiently and securely. Your expertise in vehicle handling, mechanical troubleshooting, and customer service will ensure smooth operations and uphold our commitment to safety and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers with a passion for automotive mechanics and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment.
Duties
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks, flatbeds, tow trucks, and light-duty vehicles for local and regional deliveries or recoveries
- Load, unload, and secure cargo following cargo securement protocols to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Assist with vehicle recovery towing, car towing, and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks for roadside assistance or transport
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operation
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, inspections, maintenance activities, and incident reports
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. And we are all subject to random drug screens every year.
Skills
- Skilled in cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally
- Experience with flatbed operations, car towing, and vehicle recovery towing procedures
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during pickups or deliveries
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures ensuring safety and efficiency during cargo handling
- Ability to operate tow trucks safely while adhering to all safety standards

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
