1st Shift : Week Day, Monday-Thursday (4 : 00am-4 : 00pm)

Pay Rate : $21.39 / hr

Position Summary : Operates mixing equipment, pumps, mills and valves as required to maintain a required production schedule efficiently and accurately.

Combines liquid and granular ingredients according to recipe for producing sauces and dressings.

Responsibilities

• Practices integrity, respect, accountability, continuous improvement and positive interactions with all Team Members and visitors.
• Records all information as required.
• Combines ingredients in proper sequence, weights and proportions as specified by product formulas.
• Rolls or pushes ingredient drums to pump into mixer and fills mixer by lifting or pumping ingredients.
• Reads scales and performs arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately
• Operates HMI’s (computer panel controls) to regulate and control bulk ingredients and pumping flows
• Operates, monitors and adjusts mixing equipment, pumps, mills and valves to add ingredients in correct amounts per specifications.
• Maintains standard production quantities / rates for each product.
• Cleans and rinses equipment according to specified procedures.
• Monitors equipment to detect malfunctions; makes minor adjustments / repairs; communicates mechanical problems to maintenance.
• Coordinates information and equipment with Processors and Utility positions to prior and next shifts Leads & Processors and other dept.
• Fills in for and assists other Processors and Utilities when necessary.
• Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties / responsibilities as assigned by Lead and Management

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs in a repetitive manner.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to follow detailed directions and to understand time, temperature, and weight measurements.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team.
• Stand for up to 12 hours with regular breaks.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working area.
