Machine Operator Non CNC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Complete JSA / SOP / Lock Out Tag Out

· Read a tape measure to 1/16” (if coordinating materials, or working in Afterworks)

· Check the Panel and Stile type, Bevel or Book and Door count

· Check the door length, width, thickness, and specs

· Check the first and last door using the Mill Copy

· Able to do the tooling and calibration

· Stand for long periods of time up to 10hrs a day

· Able to perform repetitive work up to 10hrs a day

· Able to help in other departments as needed

· Lifting materials up to 50lbs

· Working with small hand tools such as sanders and routers

· Must be able to keep up with plant production run rates

· Able to Work overtime and weekends when necessary

· Read and understand the Work Orders (30days) (Press Tickets / Mill Copies)

a) Learn all materials in Door construction (30days)

b) Accurate Counting of materials

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Read a tape measure

· Read and understand the Work Orders

· Learn all Door materials / components

· Able to Work Overtime

· Able to Work Weekends

· Attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
