Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Experity.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions
- Coordinate diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory testing, and specimen processing to support accurate diagnoses.
- Engage in case management activities such as discharge planning, utilization review, health coaching, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant with current licensure in South Dakota.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding essential.
- Strong clinical skills including suturing, IV infusion/venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and infection control practices.
- Experience in diverse medical settings such as acute/urgent care or emergency room preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmacology for medication administration across various specialties
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to work effectively with children, seniors, individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs across multiple disciplines.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
