- Waste Collection: Drive garbage trucks along predetermined routes using a provided tablet to collect waste from residential and commercial areas.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate and maneuver garbage trucks, adhering to established routes and schedules for waste collection.
- Equipment Handling: Operate the truck’s waste disposal equipment, including hydraulic lift systems, to pick up dumpsters and empty contents into the truck.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform daily inspections of the truck, maintain its cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Interaction: Provide courteous service to residents and business owners, addressing inquiries and concerns related to waste disposal.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
- Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, including adherence to traffic rules and regulations.
