What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Drivers position at T&K BUS SERVICES?
We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Drivers with a CDL and P&S Endorsement to transport students safely in the Elizabeth and Newark areas. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to student safety and excellent driving skills to ensure timely and secure transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely on scheduled routes and trips
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students while loading, riding, and unloading the bus
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify safety
- Maintain order and discipline among passengers
- Follow all traffic laws and school district policies
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Assist students with special needs as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- P&S Endorsement on CDL
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
- Ability to interact positively with students, parents, and school staff
