What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at T.J. Regional Health?
Responsible for the care of individuals with athletic injuries using therapeutic equipment, techniques, education, and modalities. Evaluate athletes’ readiness to play, and provide participation clearance when necessary and warranted. Apply protective and/or injury preventive devices such as tape, bandages, padding, sleeves, and/or braces appropriately. Assess and report the progress of recovering athletes to parents, coaches, and physicians.
