Job Summary

Duties
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Support store operations through inventory management and stock replenishment
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Use bilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base when necessary
- Promote store promotions and assist with product recommendations to enhance sales
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math proficiency are essential
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service in a grocery or retail environment will be beneficial
