NOW HIRING: BACKUP / PRN PHLEBOTOMIST
T&G MEDICAL LAB is seeking an experienced, dependable, and punctual Backup PRN Phlebotomist to provide coverage when our primary phlebotomist is unavailable or when additional coverage is needed.
CURRENT OFFICE HOURS THAT MAY REQUIRE COVERAGE: Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM — Physician’s Office
- Friday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM — Physician’s Office
The schedule is expected to eventually expand to Monday–Friday, approximately 3 hours per day.
- Tuesdays & Fridays: Physician’s Office
- Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: Some patients will be scheduled at the T&G MEDICAL LAB facility
THIS IS A BACKUP/PRN POSITION. Hours are not guaranteed. You will be contacted when coverage is needed due to call-outs, vacations, scheduling needs, or increased patient volume. Some coverage requests may be made on short notice.
REQUIREMENTS: Must meet all applicable state phlebotomy/licensure requirements Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience Must be currently working in phlebotomy Must be highly skilled and confident with blood draws, including difficult sticks Must be able to work independently and unsupervised Must be dependable, punctual, and responsive when accepting a shift Must be comfortable working in both a physician office and laboratory setting
THIS IS NOT A TRAINING POSITION. The selected phlebotomist must already be proficient in blood collection and capable of handling patients independently. We will not be providing training on how to perform blood draws.
