About The Opportunity
We're looking for a
Health & Safety Manager
to partner with T&G Fresh's Growing operations. This is a fascinating part of T&G where you'll be at the forefront of innovation and technology, working with leading minds in the horticulture sector.
From citrus orchards to berry farms to tomato glasshouses, this is a dynamic role spanning sites in Northland, Waikato, and Queensland - so the flexibility to travel regularly is essential - with the role's home base being in either Auckland (Mt Wellington) or Waikato (Tuakau).
Key Responsibilities Include
- Partner with our Growing leadership team, advising on all aspects of best-practice H&S.
- Build H&S capability through coaching and effective process development and implementation
- Promote T&G's H&S systems and processes at all levels to foster a H&S-led culture
- Identify and assess hazards and risks, and prepare controls to eliminate or minimise those
- Be the key H&S contact for incidents / notifiable events in Growing and lead subsequent investigations
- Coordinate external audits and action audit outcomes
- Contribute to H&S projects and support the GM Health & Safety and Managing Director to deliver the strategy and annual plan.

About You
- Previous experience in a H&S partnering role within operations / manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best-practice
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and coaching skills
- Confidence to present and advise at Executive/SLT level
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative working style
- Continuous improvement mindset
