Job Summary
T.G. Dunn Plumbing is a family owned and operated plumbing and heating company based in Bar Harbor Maine. We have been servicing Mount Desert Island and surrounding Hancock County towns for over 40 years. We are seeking a skilled licensed HVAC Technicians and also Helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in various environments, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients. Attention to detail and taking pride in your work is a must.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC units.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational functions.
- Perform refrigerant recovery and handling in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Provide field service support, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and material lists.
Experience
- Experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
- Experience driving a van or similar vehicle for field service operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse environments.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for van driving tasks

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
