Position Summary
T-Formation is seeking a computer-competent, detail-oriented Digital Press Operator for our second-shift production team. Digital Press Operators run sophisticated direct-to-garment and digital-printing equipment to produce high-quality decorated apparel. Success in this role depends on accuracy, steady production pace, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. We provide initial training on day shift before transition to the regular second-shift schedule.
What You Will Do
- Operate digital apparel-printing equipment according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Load garments, prepare artwork and jobs in the production workflow, and monitor press operation.
- Inspect finished products for print quality, color, placement, and overall accuracy.
- Maintain an efficient production pace while meeting quality and accuracy expectations.
- Follow job instructions, artwork specifications, and established production procedures.
- Identify and communicate equipment, artwork, garment, or quality concerns promptly.
- Perform routine cleaning, basic upkeep, and operator-level maintenance tasks.
- Keep work areas organized, safe, and ready for efficient production.
- Accurately complete production records and communicate shift status to team members and supervisors.
What We Are Looking For
- Comfortable using computers and learning production software and digital equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially with artwork, garment placement, color, and quality.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work productively with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow procedures, stay focused, and maintain pace in a fast-moving production setting.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability for a regular second-shift schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and handle garments or materials throughout the shift.
Experience That Helps, But Is Not Required
- Screen printing, direct-to-garment printing, embroidery, or other apparel-decoration experience.
- Manufacturing, production, quality-control, or computer-based equipment experience.
