Duties
- Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate parts stock levels, ensuring optimal availability for service needs.
- Coordinate parts sourcing and procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Manage order processing through the order management system, tracking shipments from shipping & receiving to final delivery.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to verify parts compatibility, assist with vehicle systems troubleshooting, and support service technicians.
- Maintain detailed parts administration records.
- Collaborate with internal management to optimize parts flow.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to automotive parts and accessories, ensuring clear communication with management
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and automotive service processes.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management, shipping & receiving operations, and logistics inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Ability to handle procurement management tasks including purchasing, demand planning, pricing strategies, and sourcing of automotive parts and accessories.
- Strong customer service skills
