Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Controller to support our finance and accounting operations during a transitional period following the departure of our CFO. This role will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements oSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain general ledger and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts oAssist with accounts payable/receivable and inventory accounting
• Help manage cash flow and banking relationships oPrepare and file sales tax and other regulatory reports
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure financial accuracy across departments oSupport audits and liaise with external accountants
• Contribute to process improvements and system upgrades

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience: 3 years of senior accounting or higher role (experience in wine, spirits, or CPG industry as a plus).

Skill & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting oProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
