We are looking for hiring friendly, dependable cashiers to join our front-counter team
Our cashiers are an important part of the customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can provide friendly service in a busy takeout restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately by phone, online, and at the counter
- Enter orders into the point-of-sale system
- Process cash and credit-card payments
- Confirm orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen
- Package and organize takeout and delivery orders
- Answer customer questions about menu items
- Keep the front counter and customer areas clean and organized
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer-service experience is preferred but not required
- Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
- Dependable, punctual, and organized
- Able to multitask and remain calm during busy periods
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Able to work well with both front-counter and kitchen team members
- Evening and weekend availability is preferred
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
