What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Operator - Experienced - Temporary Part-Time (Sat. and Sun only) position at T&D Metal Products?
T&D Metal is seeking an experienced Laser Operator for a temporary, part-time position working Saturdays and Sundays. The operator will safely set up and operate 6K or 10K TRUMPF laser-cutting equipment, load and unload materials, inspect completed parts, and follow production and safety requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience operating laser cutting machinery in a manufacturing or factory environment, required.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
- Hands-on experience with fabrication processes such as stamping, machining (CNC lathe/milling), and assembly line operations
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret production documents confidently
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of shop math, and the use of precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
- Prior experience working safely in manufacturing facilities with adherence to safety standards in production environments

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
