Role Description
T&D Fabrication is seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder for a full-time, on-site position based in Drumright, OK. The role involves interpreting technical blueprints, preparing and assembling metal components, welding and fitting parts, and inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards. The Fitter/Welder will also operate equipment such as cutting torches, grinders, and welding machines while adhering to safety protocols and production deadlines. Collaboration with team members and supervisors will be essential to ensure efficient operations and workflow.
Qualifications
- Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Strong skills in metal fabrication, fitting, and layout for pressure vessel components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Knowledge of industry safety protocols and practices
- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating hand tools, cutting torches, and grinding equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a demanding environment
- Previous experience working with ASME-certified pressure vessels is a plus
- Welding certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred
