Duties
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify component specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with various power tools, hand tools, and machining techniques.
- Experience in reading blueprints and technical documents is essential.
- Previous experience in a fabrication setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must have manual lathe experience.
