What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker III position at T C Industries?
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION
Perform duties to maintain and repair a wide variety of complex production and material handling equipment. Work
from prints, sketches, parts lists, wiring diagrams, hydraulic & pneumatic schematics and maintenance work orders.
This position is for 3rd Shift (12AM-8AM)
Pay Range: $24.27-$30.89
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3. Promote safety, environmental responsibility and continuous quality improvement in accordance with

4. Complies with all the policies and procedures set forth in the Company Handbook.
5. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment such as furnace lines, quenches and presses
involving difficult and complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical functions and systems.
6. Test and tear down equipment and replace defective parts and component units such as bushing plates, die
installation and removal, die repairs, gear trains, shafts, clutches, pumps, motors, spindles, belts, hoses and
controls.
7. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities, check equipment function and operation and
recommend required maintenance action.
8. Direct helpers on repair projects as required.
9. Perform a variety of electrical test procedures, disassemble equipment and replace defective parts of
connections and reassemble and test.
10. Assist in training department employees as assigned.
11. Notify Maintenance Supervisor to reorder repair parts and supplies as needed.
12. Diagnose and repair mechanical and automated material handling systems.
13. Perform repair and fabrication welding, brazing and torch operations as required.
14. Install and/or assist in the installation of equipment.
15. Perform and document safety inspection schedule.
16. Notify Lead Maintenance Worker of any unusual problems of delays.
17. Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.
